2/3 of irish citizens support opening the marriage for the LBGT community

Almost two thirds of Ireland support the opening of marriage for lesbians and gay men. The findings of a recent survey commissioned by the Irish Independent show.

This survey found that 61 percent of respondents do, that marriage for lesbians andgays is opened. Only 27 percent are opposed. Most are supporters - as common insuch surveys - among younger people and women.
