Robbery of Berlin Gay Bar 'Besenkammer; has been foiled.

In Berlin, the owner and an employee of a gay bar have prevented a robbery.

A 43-year-old man came yesterday to 9.45 clock in the "Besenkammer"at the Rathausstraße in Berlin-Mitte, drew a gun and wanted the 41-year-old employee who was doing the accounting, the daily solution. As the owner of the restaurant came about, trying to escape the man. The head and held him him up on the plate but to set the police arrived. The man is now before a judge.

The "Besenkammer" is one of the last remnants of the classic East Berlin's gay scene. The small restaurant is located in an S-Bahn-arm near the Alexanderplatz. It is open 24 hours and is known for its living character.

That it is in the raid a local pub scene is from the official press release of the police is not the way out. This information comes from Rainer Hörmanns well-informed blog "Samstag ist ein guter Tag".
