In a gay bar in Shanghai at the weekend more than 60 attendees have been arrested.
The police raided on Sunday against a clock early in the "Q Bar"and staff and visitors has been arrested. Foreign visitors were allowed to leave the bar. The Chinese audience was however arrested. Some of them were up to twelve hours in police custody. They are accused alleged that they have seen in the bar "pornographic" shows with dancers. "They wanted to know if people have money on the underwear of the dancers, " recalls one of those arrested at the interrogation. The police are silent on the raid.
Apparently, foreign workers who live on the roof of the bar, testified that sit there sometimes naked men who also have sex with each other. Steven Bao, one of the DJs suggested in his blog that they were incited by an opponent's bar with this statement.
